Making music on the street. Part 1

From today on I am a street artists. Because today I've played my guitar in front of so many shopping people on the street, it was amazing! :D 

I walked to the mall with my guitar and a pack of apple juice. I fond an open spot of witch I know people are passing by, and I've played for half a hour. First nobody came, but after a few minutes I had my first audience. A little girl and her mom, her dad and brother came to. They heard a whole song before clapping and moving on. It felt so good.

Than a shopkeeper on the other side of the road came to me and give me some money to.

There where not much people afterwards. 

So I moved on. This time I've played next to a fish market, but it did not go well. All of these people who did buy fish, but did not listen to me. It was not a good place for me, so I moved on again.

Now I played in the place I like to call the jackpot. Not only was it fun to do, so many people stopped and watched me. It was so cool. I saw friends who even sang a little with me, I saw two girls who are wanting to go to the same school as I am (the school of art, drama, and music) and they sang a few songs with me to. And there where lots of younger kids who stopped to look at me.

As I played I noticed some people in the store in front of me laughing and taking pictures of me. I don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad. See I've been bullied for over 4 years now, and people laugh at me all the time. They make fun out of me where ever I go. And even now I am not going to that school anymore, they still laugh at me for no other reason than laughing, because there is nothing to laugh at.

Back to my point, a boy asked me to take a picture with him, and who am I to say no, so I took a picture with him. As soon as the picture was made he did go in the store to the people who laughed. But when I was packing my guitar he ran to me, gave me some money, and ran back into the store again. As I was collecting all of the money I've made I saw his phone number.

So now I am questioning if it was all a joke, or if it was for real and the boy likes me.

After all, I had a great day, and I've made some money to, Yay :D

Review on OneShot

Hii everybody, I am Lotus and this is my review of the game One shot. First of: There are going to be major spoilers for this game, so if you want to play it yourself I say you should play it before reading this review because it is worth playing! 😃

With that out of the way, One Shot is an adventure/indie game about… Well about you! And that is the amazing thing about this game. You and a character named Niko are the main characters.

The game starts in an old bedroom, you see Niko wake up and you navigate him with the arrow keys through the house. Until you find the code to login to a computer. The computer starts and says you found him, and that is already is too late for this world to be saved. That this world is not worth saving and that the actions and decisions you make will affect Niko. That your only goal is to make Niko leave. The game looks into your files and without typing in your name at the beginning it says your name. And it reminds you of the fact that you only have one shot at returning Niko home.

After that you can navigate Niko again and you find a lightbulb… You pick it up and the light goes on. Now the dark house you’re in lights up where ever you go. When you click on it in Niko’s inventory you see it is the sun.

When you make your way outside to see the world for the first time. It is dark and there are no plants, only broken robots. Until you meet one who is not broken. He sees the lightbulb Niko is holding and starts to talk. He explains to you what is happening: Niko is the savior, the messiah that needs to save the world from internal darkness and the death that comes with it. He needs to bring the lightbulb (aka the sun) to the tower in the center of the world. But if the lightbulb breaks, the world would end whit it. The most important thing you learn is that you are the god of this world. You need to guide Niko in his mission to bring back the sun and if you make bad decisions, it can be that the world ends. The robot (just like the computer) says your name and Niko questions who you are. You respond and Niko turns to the robot again. After that you get plenty of time to talk to Niko. You learn that Niko is not from this world and that he wants to go home again.
He is just a little kid who wants to go home, to his mama, and that is adorable.

Throughout the game, you really develop a bond with Niko and the world that needs saving. The pretty cutscenes and cool game design really let you into the world. The fact that you are not Niko, but you are a god and you must solve puzzles outside of the game (your desktop changes and you need to look into the game file to solve the puzzles) is so original and I have not seen it elsewhere. And the idea of the sun being a lightbulb is creative to! It makes me wonder what stars are in a universe like that. There are many ways to play the game, and many different endings to it. For instant, you can save the world and send Niko home, you can save only Niko… And there is sadly the ending I had…After spending so much time with Niko and this world we are in. I did get this picture:       

He turned to me, the player, the god, and asks: “What’s the right thing to do?”. You see two options: Save the world, and Save Niko. I needed to make the decision between Niko and a whole world. I did what I felt what was the right thing to do, and it was to save the world… Niko died. That was the end of the game and now every time I open the game I see an empty room. The room where everything stared and where everything apparently ends to. 

And so ends the sad story of an world who needs saving, of an little kid who is pulled away from his home and his mama, and of me as an god.
